I suspect that by putting the name in inverted commas you are forcing the
creation of a file with no extension. I think you should be saving it as:
Commit Table Road_Details as "C:\Road_Details.TAB"

However, if I try this
Commit Table Road_Details as "C:\Road_Details"
I get this message
File Road_Details.DAT not found. Unable to create new table.
Any ideas much appreciated.
