Hi there, I am currently developing an application that uses MapInfo and Access 97. I have some MapInfo tables open that are saved as *.dbf. I also have the same dbf files open in Access as linked tables. My problem is that whenever I am using one of the tables in Access and I then try to do anything with it in MapInfo I get an error message saying that the dbf file is in use and that MapInfo cannot read this. I have tried opening the dbf table as readonly in MapInfo but get the same error. Does anybody know a workaround for this?? Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
