Dear all, Apologies if this message has been asked several times before but I am new to this mailing list. Does any one know of an mbx application that allows you to select one point and find the nearest road to it. In other words the ability to find the nearest linear feature to a point. I have found a couple of distance tools on the www already but all they seem to do is trawl through entire tables and not points, relating the distance of all points in one table to all points in another table. Unfortunately my mapbasic skills are rather limited, but hopefully this should give me the incentive to learn more.
