I'm trying to find out, which product to buy, in order to process Arial photograps (1:30.000). What we want to do, is to extract whatever information we can from the photo's and to be able to use that information in Mapinfo, i.e. we want to make layers in mapinfo named, rivers, forest, cultivated land, moors etc. I would very much like to hear from anyone, who has experince in this kind of work. I'm looking into a program from DEFiNiENS called eCognition and one from Research Systems, inc. called ENVI.
