Phil,
You can use the Table/Append Rows to Table menu option but you must make
sure the bounds of the table you are adding into are large enough to include
the data from the adjacent maps you are trying to add. mapinfo does not
expand the bounds to accept the new data.
I wrote a mapbasic program a while back called combiner.mbx which will
expand the bounds and change the projection if nessessary when combining the
