MI6 should have a tool called "ArcLink" Run this and select the e00 file.
You can choose which elements of the e00 file you want i.e. polygons, tics,
boundas,arcs etc etc
This will translate it into mapinfo tabs for you (there maybe a few of them
- i.e. <name>_poly.tab <name>_tic.tab these are just the various elements of
the file.
The data is an ArcInfo export format file. It's a huge ASCII thing that
stores the topology of the arcinfo coverage (open one up in a text editor,
it looks horrible)

I got this soil map I downloaded for free off canadian gov. web site..
My only problem is the extension.. (soil.e00)
Is there a way can open this in MI6. I tried import and the universal
Translator.. no success there..
