i'd use the "File > Save Window As" command. This will produce an image of
the contents of the map window (it does Bitmap, jpeg and metafile and a few
others) and just inser that image into the presentation. you can specify the
size of the image as well if you want to.

Has anyone had a problem in MapInfo v6.0 as compared to MapInfo v5.0 with;
Copying windows from MapInfo 6.0 into MS PowerPoint
In MapInfo 5.0 an image is inserted, in MapInfo 6.0 a very large OLE object
is created?

If so is there a way around this?
