How do I calculate the distance between two points expressed in terms of
Long,lat?
I have set up a quires outside the MapInfo environment that finds the
nearest point to a known point, I want to calculate the distance in metres
between them, this data is then transferred to MapInfo via MID MIF files. I
am currently writing a justification to get mapbasic to automate such
queries, our system experts forgot to add it to our recent MapInfo upgrade.
