MI6.0 (already patched) + VM2.5, W98
Scenario:
There is a polygon layer
One polygon is selected
Able cosmetic layer
Create a 3KM buffer around the selected polygon
Save cosmetic layer (buffer) as new layer (MAP - Save Cosmetic Objects)
Browse the saved buffer
*There is one column ID with null value
It seems straightforward.
Listed below is the sequence of MB statements as they appear in the MB Window.
Create Object As Buffer From Selection Width 3 Units "km" Type Spherical Resolution 30
Into Table Cosmetic1 Group by Rowid
Create Table "Poly_209Buff3KM" (ID Integer) File "C:\A\Projects\Robson Valley
FD-Risk\Temp\Poly_209Buff3KM.TAB"
Create Map For Poly_209Buff3KM CoordSys Earth Projection 8, 33, "m", -117, 0, 0.9996,
500000, 0 Bounds (-7745844.29605, -9997964.94315) (8745844.29605, 9997964.94315)
Commit Table Poly_209Buff3KM Interactive
Add Map Layer Poly_209Buff3KM
Browse * From Poly_209Buff3KM
The problem is:
If I do the same procedure by highlighting these MB statements and execute, I don't
have the same result. The buffer is displayed properly but its table shows one field
(ID) but no row, no null record. Curiously, if I use the "I" (identify tool), the
saved buffer isn't even listed although it appears in the layer scheme.
If I do these steps by menu it works fine but doesn't if it is highlighted and
executed. I don't get it.
I am doing some MB batch using MB window and this problem just surprise me.
I wonder if any of you have been there?
Is there any explanation for this to happen?
I would appreciate any help.
