Dear Listers, I think someone asked this recently, but here goes. Is there a tool to calculate great circles in MapInfo. Those of you with a structural geology background will know what I mean. I need to be able to work with travel distances over thousands of miles on a spherical or cartesian earth, e.g.- shipping routes, flight lines, migration routes, etc. Is there an MBX pre made to handle this or is this something which should be added to something like VM or MapInfo directly in the future. We all know that the earth isn't flat so let's include real shortest path capability when dealing with GIS data in MapInfo... I hope there's a solution already out there?
