Dear all,

A MapBasic application which I am currently updating launches Microsoft
Media Player with a MPEG video for a map feature when clicked on. The
problem I have is that although the filename is returned from the TAB file,
the drive letter for the CD-ROM is fixed as D:, which is a fair assumption,
however the program has been installed on a PC whose CD-ROM drive letter is
E:.

Can anybody please tell me if there is a way of identifying the system CD
drive letter, other than providing a dialog with a dropdown list, thus
making the user force the correct drive letter?.

Regards,
