Mr. Planchon,
The MapInfo dX,dY,dZ parameters are a reflection of the public domain
publications of the U.S. Military's "National Imagery and Mapping Agency,"
NIMA. If you go to the www.NIMA.mil web site and go to publications, there
is a document entitled TR8350.2 which is in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format.
It can be downloaded for free and lists all the commonly-listed shift
parameters found in GIS packages all over the world.
Explanations of what these terms mean can be found in that publication as
well as the others available at the same NIMA site.
Other explanations and some more obscure details can be obtained from the
European Petroleum Studies Group (EPSG) in Geneva from the
PetroConsultants.com web site, although it has been "kaput" for several
months. A similar source is the POSC specification that appears on the web
occasionally.
The most detailed and MOST obscure facts, datum shifts, and projection
parameters are published in my monthly column on the Grids and Datums of
the world in "Photogrammetric Engineering and Remote Sensing." You can
download these from the web site listed below my signature block.
Finally, there is also the "XYZ" journal of your French IGN that covers
these topics on a regular basis, but of course is not as authoritative as
my column! :-)
Good luck,
Bon sois.

Hello,
Where could I find the parameters of datums (dX, dY, dZ) defined in
MapInfo ?
I found no documentation (or in textbooks(manual workers) MapInfo)
listing these parameters.
Thanks,
