I am an avid arcview user who recently took a job which utilizes MI. I have
a file that I have been trying to do a "dissolve" by a common table value. I
have found that to do this you use the combine using column option. However
I keep getting the error message:
! You cannot combine linear and closed objects. Operation Canceled
So then I made the file editable and tried to convert the objects to
regions. I made the file editable and in doing the region conversion - I
still get the same error message. What did I miss ? ? ?
Any help would be apprecaited
