Yes, there is a simple way. Just select the objects you want to combine,
then choose Objects>Combine from the menu. If you have data in the polygons
already, you can choose how you want to combine the data in the resulting
polygon.

Subject: MI-L Joining polygons
I also have a problem of wishing to be able to join polygons in a simple
way. Often I screw up in gathering GPS data and will close an area feature
before I have made it around the perimeter. I then start another area
feature at that point and continue to the POB. Now I end up with 2 polygons
defining the area feature. I currently go thru a tedioous process of adding
points to one polygon and stretching them to the shape of the second
polygon. Is there not a simpel join or combine command to merge the two?
Thanks in advance...tom
