The Calle material
http://www.calle.com/world/index.html
is more useable for making one enquiry at a time- though I do know someone
who laboriously downloaded all the data for one particular country as text
files, a page at a time, using View/Source on Internet Explorer ;-)
The instantly available database for any given country is the US National
Imagery and Mapping Agency database at:
http://164.214.2.59/gns/html/cntry_files.html
