Tim,

You can display more than one map table in a window if they were previously
saved in a workspace with MI Pro.
The Help File appears to be a copy of MI Pro. not a customized version for
Proviewer.
Although Proviewer will not control the number of visible layers, you may be
able to attain that outcome by set Zoom Layering within a saved workspace
using MI Pro.

Subject: MI-L Proviewer and Layers

Listers,

I just had one of our clients download Proviewer v6.0 and unless I'm
mistaken, it won't allow you to a) display more than one table in a map
window and b) alter the number of layers visible in a workspace. In essence,
there's nothing akin to the Layer Manager in the full version of MI.

Yet in the Help file, there's this cryptic entry:

Add Layer Dialog Box
Add layer
Use the Add layer drop-down list to display the available layers. Choose
the table to be added from the drop-down list

But I can't find the Add Layer Dialog Box anywhere.

I'm soooo confused.
