Hi Matt,
I had problems with hotlink some months ago exactly like yours. Try the
following:
Select "MapInfo Table" (*.tab) in the "Files Type" tab in Explorer. Then
edit the Open Action and select "Use DDE" insert: Open Table "%1" View
Automatic, MapInfo, -blank-, System. Then everything should work as
intended.

Hope this helps.
Søren

Hi All

I want to link points on a map to another MapInfo table so as when I click
on a point on the map another table is opened. I have tried using the
utility hotlink and just pointing the link to the relevant table but it
insists on opening another session on MI - which is not what I want. I want
the new table to be opened within the running version of MI I have open.

It's all MI Pro 5.5

Any ideas?
