Workspace Manager (tm)
Are you tired of opening a workspace and sometimes finding that
MapInfo Professional can't find one or
more of the tables? Workspace Manager(tm) can help!
Workspace Manager(tm) enables you to:
1.Resolve workspace "Open Table" problems.
Workspace Manager(tm) searches your disks for the
appropriate tables. You can tell it to search
specific drives, local drives, network drives, etc.
Workspace Manager(tm) uses a Windows(tm)-like
"Find files" feature to locate your tables. If more than
one table with the same name is found,
Workspace Manager(tm) lets you choose which to use. If
you know where a particular table is
located, you can find it manually.
2.Send a workspace and the associated tables to someone else.
Workspace Manager(tm) allows you to pick the tables you
wish to send. There's no use sending
tables, especially large ones, that the recipient already
has. The workspaces and associated tables
are packaged into a .WORP file. Workspace Manager(tm) can
send the package via email. For email
systems with attachment size restrictions, Workspace
Manager(tm) can break the package into
smaller files.
