Hi Marco!
You can try twf2tab.mbx or tfwread.mbx at directionsmag.com. They converts
ESRI TFW files to MapInfo TAB.
If you open the tab and tfw files in a texteditor you see that ArcView and
MapInfo register raster files in different fashion.
