Hi, I just have a couple of questions. I have reviewed the mailing list regarding this topic, but they all refer to MapINFO Professional and only polling at start up. However, I am using the MapInfo runtime and have experienced the same problem, but not only on startup but after each command is sent to runtime. As well, this seems to only effect machines that are running on a Novell client on a Novell Network with the IPX network protocol installed. On other machines that are not running novell, it seems that this polling does not occur. For machines running Novell, the result is a slower response from MapInfo; which becomes a problem when so many commands are sent. Also, the test machine that I am working on does not have those DLL's because as I understand it they only are installed with MapInfo Professional. Has anyone else encountered this problem with the MapInfo runtime? And if so how have you dealt with this problem?
