Hi List,
I have a couple of questions concerning the Graphing capabilities of
MapInfo/MapBasic.
First question: In the Set Graph command is there any way that you can let
the Title take the value of a stored string variable instead of typing in
the string?
ie.
Set Graph
Type Line Stacked Off Overlapped Off
Droplines Off Rotated Off Show3d Off
Overlap 30 Gutter 10 Angle 0
Title Graph_title(3)
Font ("Arial",1,9,0)
The above code doesn't seem to work. MapInfo wants me to enter the text
that will be used for the title in
The next question is: Is it possible to control the Value and Label axis
labels more than just size, colour and font (ie. to the extent that you can
rotate them etc.)?
And Finally: Am I wasting my time in trying to create some good looking
graphs with the Graphing option in MapInfo/MapBasic? Should I just be
exporting the data to a graphing package? Has anyone else been in had
good/bad/indifferent experiences with graphing in MapInfo?
Have a good weekend.
Cheers,
