I do not think that one can define the number of decimals that will appear
in the ruler result box. I made an amusing test: the number of decimals
seems to depend upon the zoom of the mapper.

There is a way around that lack of control: adopting as distance unit for
the mapper (via mapper options or "set map window frontwindow() Distance
Units "m" ", not with "set distance units "m" ") a smaller unit that will
guarantee that the readings will always be at that required "precision"
level. (ex: M instead of KM)

Hi..

How can I add more precision (decimals) when I display the units in my
ruler window.

Thanks
Eric
