Are there any on-line sources of tutorials for MapInfo like exists for
ArcView at ESRI? Or other sources of tutorials in an any format, or a MI
tutorial printed more recently covering v 5 and above?
Or Vertical Mapper?

What is the correct syntax for selecting all rows in a table where the first
letter is A followed by a number?
For example I want to select all the rows where the ID range of a column is
A - A12.
