Hi All, I am looking at programming my own plug-in for MapInfo as a project at university. I have looked inside the MrSid dll and the ER Mapper dll's and have not found any generic format. This leaves me to question, How does MapInfo call the dll's?? For example, with the MrSid plug-in: The .sid file type is added to the file open dialog, but when you choose the file you would like to open, in this case the Paris.sid demo image that comes with the plug-in, how does MapInfo call the MrSid dll to decode the image??? Does anyone know anything about these plug-ins?
