When I enter a printer in the registry by setting a System Variable MapInfo becomes un-stable, I am using:- Windows NT version 4 Novell Netware Client version 4.7 MapInfo version 6 The Options >>> Preferences >>> Printers is unusable, i.e. clicking on this option does nothing. Thus I am unable to set a default MapInfo printer, page size or orientation. Further to this if I click on File >>> Page Setup I MapInfo crashes out as follows:- "Floating point exception. Divide by zero" "The exception Floating point division by zero. (0zc000008e) occured in the application at location 0x00000008. Click to terminate" These errors are not a one off but consistently occur, reducing the functionality and usefullness of MapInfo greatly. You might suggest I do not set a system variable but then the printer settings interfere with other applications more fundamental to my users needs than MapInfo. Is this a known bug in MapInfo? Any fixes known?
