Dear MI list: I am using MI6.0. Suddenly, and without error messages, I became unable to use the Universal Translator (UT). Here is what happens: Once in MI6.0, I can invoke the UT, and navigate to, and select the file I want to translate (e.g. shape file). I cannot proceed beyond that. As soon as I select the projection, the computer locks up. I have to use cntl-alt-del to cancel out of MI6.0 and the UT. Another staff member with the same version software does not have this problem and continues to enjoy apparently error free conversion. There have been no software or hardware changes to either machine. I reviewed some Mapinfo-L selections about this UT problem but apparently missed the fix. Suggestions? Thanks to all.
