Greetings List,
Apparently the trick is to use a FONT and not a SYMBOL. Then, what looks
like a symbol is actually Text, and can be rotated.
My thanks to Steve Iris, Patrick Philips, Stephen Baig, and especially
Spencer Simpson who posted the ingenious MapBasic solution on this list
a couple of days ago.
