Hey guys,
This might be a confusing one, I am currently trying to link my MS =
Access database to MapInfo Pro 6.0. I did this last fall no problem, =
trouble being I forgot how I did it. This is what I have done so far:
1) I created a new data source using the ODBC Administrator in the =
Control Panel
- under user DSN I selected "ADD"
- selected the "MS Access Driver (*.mdb)"
- then selected my Access Database and gave it a name
- this data source now shows up in the ODBC Administrator under user =
DSN data sources
2) now off to MapInfo:
- I select the "open DBMS table" button
- under the machine data sources selection box I see the data source =
that I created in step (1)
- I select this data source, hit ok
- my datasource is present in the open DBMS table window, but none =
of the tables in that particular database show up - it is like the =
database is devoid of tables
I have tried to repair the database, in control panel, but this had no =
effect .....
Any suggestions??
