Hi Jon
just type this in the MapBasic window
set coordsys table MyTabName
update MyTabName set obj = CreateLine(start_x, starty, end_x, end_y)
and voila, you get your line

Vedrrende: MI-L Creating a line cover from points
Dear listers....
Is there a simple solution and/or am I just being stupid. (Any
consolation I can do this in ArcInfo... ;) )
I have a table with 4 columns of co-ordinates Start_X,
Start_Y, End_X and End_Y
What I would like to do is create a line between each start point and
end point.
Is there a nice click and create method, or somesuch... or assistance
for a non-mapbasic user..
Thanks once again and have a great weekend.
Jon
