Does anyone know if it's possible to combine a symbol together with a polygon and/or region to an index field so that when I either select the symbol or polygon/region using the information button, that it displays the information that I've assigned to the record within the table? Example: I have a project that includes specific sampling points where I show the project using a pin marker. My sampling points are shown using a different symbol. What I would like, is to select either the pin marker (for the project) or click within the designated polygon and have MI retrieve the appropriate project for that symbol or within that polygon. I understand that MI will not allow me to combine a symbol with a line or polyline or polygon. But, is there another way of accomplishing this task?
