Hi Steve
We've been doing something similar for years. We had a custom mapbasic
progrm developed which works on one line segment for each symbol, and
will place the correct geological symbol at the centre point of the
original line, in the correct orientation, with the strike attributed in
the symbol table.
Saves us an enormous amount of time. Give me a ring and I'll explain it
in a bit more detail if you want.
Also, we haven't had that lunch yet - might be a good year for it.
