I have several maplayers: Layer A has polygons with Postal Codes in it; every polygon represents one postal code. Layer B has circle-polygons which represents drive time from a store (big store has a big circle, small store has a small circle). These circles represent the amount of households within the circle who buy a this store. What i want to do is to cross layer A with layer B and my output is a layer C with colums storename and Postal Codes. For this I use the SQL query "layerA.obj witin layerB.obj" I don't use the intersect option, because it will enlarge my area, which means that many more households will buy their stuff at that store, which is not representative. Oke, my problem: Because of the form of layer A and it's centroids, I get areas in LayerC which contains more than 1 polygon... I want to select these polygons and delete the smallest one.BUT... for example... Mapinfo sees my polygons (2) as one object with one name... and I don't know how to select the smallest polygon-area, and delete this one... It has to be simple... but I can't get it done (it are about 500 stores). Can you help me out on this??? Thanks, Klaas Jan Sant [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________________________________ List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MapInfo-L" in the message body.
