look see. Uses either SHP or MIF. MIF is by far the better as it includes
needed metadata where as the SHP format fall short. Yep, we too could have
used a PalmOS version that is KISS. What we have requires a significant
amount of investment.

A simple PDA Palm Os application that allowes me to import-export Mapinfo
files back and foward. Forget about Wireless, heavy raters, or any complex
fuctionality included on Mapxtend. Just for Field data collection
(Optional GPS conectivity) on top of vector leyers.
