Hi, I have two data sets, one of a road network, consisting of over 100,000 = links, the other data set is a polyline dataset consisting of routes = that use this road network. Each route is a single record and therefore = it covers a number of the road network links. Each route has a value = assigned to it (flow of traffic). What i need to do is attach the value = from the route record to each road network link that is used by that = route. There are over 8000 routes, so some kind of summing or = aggregation would be required to speed this up. I have looked at the = Update column function but this only allows a selection of 'within' = which won't select any links. Ideally the select 'entirely within' = combined with the update column function could work, but i haven't had = any success. Does any one have any ideas on this one??
