Mapinfo has no practical software that runs on the Palm OS.

See gpspilot.com.  Also look at www.optimalvector.com.

2 mb memory will hold a lot of waypoints.

The problem is getting useful software.  About all that can be expected
or is software that will allow generation of text data files that may be
imported into MapInfo.
