Neal,
One way of saving/recycling your legends is to build them without the legend
tool (this gives you more control of the look and feel of your legend
anyway), then, with all associated tables closed you can save JUST the
legend to a workspace. You can then open this legend workspace when creating
another layout, cutting and pasting the saved legend graphics into your new
layout. The only drawback to this is that in some instances your saved
legend.wor opens very slowly.

Subject: MI-L Loading a legend in Mapbasic
I have been looking through the literature and I can't find anything helpful
in the loading of a saved legend to a layer using MapBasic. Any help would
be appreciated.
Thanks, NEAL
