Hi What is the best projection and datum (using a metre co-ordinate system) to use when plotting data for Brazil and/or South America. Problem arises when integrating geophysical data derived from Geosoft (requires metre co-ordinate grid for accurate/scaled maps) and geological maps derived from MapInfo. Would Polyconic or Equidistant projections be appropriate?
