I have a Proviewer question ... Is there any way to set up a layout in
MapInfo with a blank map frame, and then open this as a workspace in
Proviewer, allowing the user to then change the frame properties to
whichever map is open in Proviewer? I've tried this, but cannot change the
frame properties in Proviewer.
We have a large number of GIS users (we're currently using a non-MapInfo
based system), and about 80% of these wouldn't use most of MapInfo's
features, but would mainly print out reports based on data and analysis done
by others. If the above cannot be done, does anyone have any suggestions of
a work-around where basic users could open a pre-set layout from a list
(variations in page size, scale, titles etc.) and use it to display their
map data in Proviewer?
