Hi there, any where,
I have a table with a set of coord pairs plus altitude. One for the =
houses entrance and one for the boreholes that supplies the water to the =
houses. Both lat/long pairs are measured in pure degress, like this:
id vivienda
longviv
latviv
altitud.viv
longfda
latfda
altitud.viv

Any one can coop. with the formulae to calculate linear distance between =
those point as for measuring the pipeleght through the hipotenusa?
Any one have applied a linear regression to a set of point (min sq) as =
for calculating the line which sets minumun distance to all points? Can =
any one supply the formulae?. I can imagine that this line can be a =
first estimation for total lenght of power supplies line to a group of =
houses "along" a road.
Thanks
Juanse
