Hi Ian, The information is stored in the file MAPINFOW.PRF in the Windows directory. There is only access to the file from MI. If any one has a way of decoding the PRF file, I would like to know too. I am trying to write a program that searches through to find a file, and I want it to start looking in common places like the location defined in the 'Table' or 'Workspace' settings in the preferences.
