Good Morning all,

I recently had difficulties opening MapInfo tables that had been copied to
a new volume on the same drive.

It turned out that Windows NT v4 had changed the lower case file extensions
.dat to .data
It did not change upper case .DAT
Beware.

Just a thought, if Marilyn vos Savant's puzzle can be solved using a
compass on a globe then the puzzle was probably created that way as
compasses on globes measure chord distances not surface or flight
distances.
