I have mad a number of corrections to the Brush Patterns document and zip
file. The main thrust was the fact that I did not specify clearly that
bitmaps had to be in "monochrome" format if one wants to be able to use them
with foreground/background colors. Most of my own new patterns did not even
respect that rule!

A second source of adjustments came by accident from a fellow co-lister on
mapinfo_fr who queried the differences existing between apparently similar
patterns when transferred to coreldraw/pdf... It turns out that the hatching
patterns that are on the first line of the region style requester seem to
correspond to identical patterns in the body of the palette. They only seem
to look like. They are however totally different in nature, not defined by
bitmaps, but hard coded and probaly in vector terms. That would explain the
differences in their behaviour.

I adjusted also the wor, cleaning it up to be pratically MI version
independent.

Seen the number of visitors since my announcement of Brush Patterns, the
interest in the subject seems to be as high as I expected. I hope to hear
from you soon and be flooded by new ideas.
