I'm wondering wether MI5 can utilize the UTM systems ability to define a cellsize and position, with only two numbers. If I use UTM coordinates 2 characters in length, then I'll get a cellsize of 10.000x10.000 m. And If I use coordinates with 4 characters, I'll get a 1000 x 1000 m. cell. E.g. 21N,32E = 10.000 x 10.000 m. And 2100N,3200E = 1000 x 1000 m. Is there any way to get MI to draw cells with the correct position and size, based upon a table with only two numbers with variable length (=variable size). I think this should be possible, I could be wrong. My reason for asking, is the fact that I want to create a Database, containing different positions with variable accuracy. If I could use the above described method, then it would be great. But I would be very happy to receive alternative suggestions. I've also speculated on doing it with only one position (definging the center of a circle), and a second number reflecting the inaccuracy (i.e. defining the length of the radius). -Janus _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. _______________________________________________________________________ List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MapInfo-L" in the message body.
