WorldReg Version 4.0 offers a menu option providing batch conversions of
raster file
projections. This process would be able to convert hundreds of tables with
just a few key strokes. Details on WorldReg Version 4 can be found at the
URL below. Feel free to contact me with your questions.

Thank you,

 Hello,

I'm trying to change the projection of at least dozens, perhaps scores or
even hundreds, of DRG for the states of WA, OR, ID and AK (FEMA Region X). I
get them off the web in UTM (NAD 27/US) , but we want to store everything as
Lat/Long NAD 83, so we (read "I") have to change the projection on each one.
It's easy to use the Table>Raster>Modify Image Registration to change the
projection if I'm only doing two or three, but for production purposes, I
need a less manual approach. I think I glimpsed a thread a few months ago
about passing strings from MapBasic programs to dialog boxes as if they (the
strings) were entered from the keyboard. I think that technique might be
what I'm looking for and I'd appreciate those in the know to reprise their
comments for me if they would. Any other approaches are welcome, too.

The problem, in a nutshell, is programming the change of projection in
MapBasic. I can run the Modify Image Registration from MB, but can't change
the projection in the Image Registration dialogue box without pointing and
clicking on "Projection" and then going through the (tedious) Choose
Projection box. Without assistance I don't even know what to "pass" to the
dialogue box, let alone how. Perhaps a projection string from the
 Mapinfow.prj file? But, how?

Any advice gratefully appreciated and I'll summarize.
