Hello All Does anyone have any experience of issues surrounding the printing of fills from MapX? So far we are experiencing a number of problems, especially when setting a transparent brush style. The fill will either be solid black, look like the toner has run out, or vary considerably in thickness. The various printers we have tested on so far include HP, Xerox and Canon laserjets using non-postscript and postscript drivers. The fills vary considerably from those used in Mapinfo. We're running MapX with the MapX 4.51 patch We initially conducted Technical Support through the Test Drive Centre, concerning the behaviour of an HP4MV with postscript drivers. They reported that printing with postscript and non-postscript drivers produced equal results from MapX and MiPro. From this, I conclude that the problem is not MapX, but something else. I would appreciate any feedback on this.
