Hello all,

This is more for Australian MapInfo people.

I would like to acquire an algorithm so that I can build a function that will enable
me to convert
a single Lat - Long WGS 84 co-ordinate into an AMG (Australian Map Grid) co-ordinate.

For example if I feed in a lat or a long co-ordinate I would like the function to spit
out the equivalent
AMG X or Y coordinate.

I'm not after conversion programs, but an actual algorithm, which I then can put into
a MapXtreme program,
that when requested by the user will give the AMG co-ordinate of the feature they have
selected or moused over.
I know I can alter the Coordinate system in a MapXtreme program but that will be an
overkill and an unnessary
overhead on the system to convert between Lat/Long and AMG on the fly whenever a map
is redrawn.

Thanks for any help
Roger
