Hi Bill,
If you have MI Pro v4.1 or above, then use the free GeoReg.mbx under Tools >
Tool Manager > Register a Raster Image.
Since the GeoTiff already has some registration information in the header,
you should only need to 're-register' it by doing a File > Save Copy As...
Note, a GeoTiff image has a defined Projected Coordinate System(PCS) as a
tag in the header, MapInfo understands a subset of these as defined in the
MAPINFOW.PRJ file.
