Dear List I'll try and cut to the quick...I have been attending meetings held by a small Mapinfo User Group based in North Eastern NSW Australia. Recently the issue of 'Standard Symbology' was raised. I have been informed that the NSW Rural Fire Service and the National Parks & Wildlife Service have developed some Standard Symbols which are in use. I am also aware of the Australian Standards covering Symbols, although these mainly deal with the Engineering/CAD side of things. My question is....would anyone in NSW or Australia be aware of any work being done in the area of developing/using 'Standardised' Symbols in GIS particularly Mapinfo??
