Hi Paul,
It's just a bit of code to maximize the topmost window (the last window to
be opened in the workspace before this bit of code).
Although MapInfo seems horribly keen to add unnecessary bits of code to
workspaces (eg "Label With" clauses for tables which aren't labelled), this
is probably a bit of code you actually want, because, presumably your user
saved her workspace with this window maximized.
If the workspace is failing to open, then, unless there are no windows open
at all when this bit of code occurs, it's probably something else in the
workspace that's causing the problem.
