To home it may concern:

Just a quick question that hopefully someone can answer. I have recently
completed an outer join to find all records that are not in one table but
are in another. However, upon completion of this query, I noticed that the
records produced did for the most part exist in the table that MapInfo. What
I am wondering is what would cause this. The table that is being used as the
base table has been assembled by appending a series of ASCII text files that
have been converted to MapInfo table format. The table that is being joined
has been assembled from a series of imported DXF files which have been
appended together into one table. Hopefully someone can solve this problem
for me.
